How the Bonus Wagering Requirement Calculator works
Wagering requirements say how much you must bet before bonus winnings can be withdrawn. The calculator shows the total amount you need to wager on your chosen game and the average amount you would be expected to lose while doing it, based on the game’s return to player (RTP).
Formula
- Required wagering = multiple × (bonus, or deposit + bonus)
- Wagering on the game = required wagering ÷ contribution %
- Expected loss = wagering on the game × (1 − RTP)
- Expected bonus value = bonus − expected loss
Worked example
A 100 bonus with 35× on the bonus only needs 3,500 wagered. At 96% RTP the expected loss is 140, so the bonus is worth about −40 on average before any max-bet or game restrictions.
Frequently asked questions
Is a bonus with high wagering ever worth it?
It can be if the multiple is low and the RTP is high, but the average result is the bonus minus the expected loss shown here. Always read the terms for maximum bet, excluded games and expiry.

Calculators describe maths, not outcomes. Gambling is for adults aged 18+ and can be addictive — set limits and never stake money you cannot afford to lose.
